For the past two-and-a-bit years, we've been huge fans of Wolf of the Willows' Barrel Exchange Program with Lark Distillery in Tasmania. This release is somewhat of a change-up from the luxurious barrel-aged stouts that we've seen so far, and we're delighted by the results!
This release is an Imperial Sour Blonde Ale brewed with smoked malt, lactose, and fresh lemons which was aged in re-used Lark whisky barrels and carbonated with nitrogen to ensure a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
