This should be an absolute staple on everyone’s shelf! In true Italian style, apparently this was a creation of Benedictine monks back in the early 1800s, and finessed in the centuries since. Bittersweet, and truly delicious, this goes beautifully over ice, or as an ingredient in your favourite cocktail.
