Wife and husband team, Lisa Sartori and Marcus Satchell, run Dirty Three wines from their quaint winemaking shed in the quiet South Gippsland town of Inverloch. The fruit from their wines come from three distinctive vineyards across the region, which together emphasise the diversity and quality that this bourgeoning region has to offer.

Part two in a series profiling the vineyards in Dirty Three's portfolio, Dirt Two hones in on the Tilson Vineyard in Leongatha. Similar to Dirt One, the Tilson vineyard sits on red volcanic soils, yet it was picked a week later due to different ripening times. It's slightly more savoury and downtuned showcasing wild cherry, cranberry, amaro herbs, and baking spice. The tannins are a little more present and chewy, with some sappy whole bunch notes providing depth and intrigue.
