Made from malt which has been peat dried for up to 48 hours, this double distilled single malt is then matured in a a mixture of Bourbon and Sherry oak casks before spending three years finishing in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Chile. Heady aromatics of earthy smoke, blood orange, and vanilla, leading into a salty and savoury palate, with a sweet fruit core, cinnamon, woody spice, and even a hint of candied pineapple.
