Located in the picturesque Irpinian hills above Naples in southern Italy, Ciro Picariello produces a range of beautifully expressive wines from local Campanian varieties. Falanghina is a little-known variety that is currently enjoying a revival after falling into relative obscurity. Ciro sources his Falanghina grapes from Benevento, 30 kilometres north of the village of Avellino. Showcasing a touch more weight than Ciro's Fiano wines, it's awash with notes of white peach, honeydew melon, and zesty citrus with subtle hints of honey and almonds.
